Estate of Dr. Anita Cowan, 602 Woodland St. Denton Texas Bell Ave. Historic District

SALE IN TWO HOUSES, Dr. Cowan's and her Mother's house & garages next door.
The following pics are were taken in 602 Woodland, as the second house set up is not complete.
This is an unusually varied estate as Dr. Cowan was a world traveling anthropologist with a large home in Mexico, and was the heir to her parents', brother's, and aunt's estates.  They were a  well educated family and her Aunt Eunice had strong ties to the Stark family in Orange so consequently there are
items once owned by that family in this sale as well as a multitude of ethnic, artifacts, souvenirs, clothing, rugs, blankets and other textiles primarily from Mexico and South America.  There are more than a dozen antique quilts several of which are exceptional applique examples.  Three sets of dishes

Limited access at Dr. Cowan's house (602) No children, or large bags.
as this is not a big house.  The house and garages next door will be more
 accessible. Woodland is a narrow street.  Parking will be an issue, so do not block drives.

The corner house, Anita's Mother's, is where most of the furniture, (2 drop leaf tables, 2 desks, a nice sectional sleeper sofa by Bahous, plexiglas and glass aquarium/coffee table,) clothes, sheets, towels, appliances, kitchen items, sewing machine, vintage portable typewriter,

some interesting carriage lamps from Mexico, and much more.  Will post more pics of that house and garages.
