The Jamison family home (since 1936) is packed with antiques-- china, silver,  furniture, and  many works of art-- Celia Jamison Sankey, 1940's - 60's Taos NM artists, and others.
He was an Army Officer, politician,  teacher, & a gentleman farmer, she, a stylish homemaker and hostess. 
Mr. Jamison was an aide to both Sam Rayburn and Sen. Ralph Yarbrough, and served for 14 years in the Texas Legislature, before teaching at UNT and later TWU where he was head of the History and Government Dept.  The Jamisons were generous supporters of their Church,  Democratic political campaigns,  UNT,  and TWU.
