Estate Sale Denton 510 Roberts, St. Fri. Sat. Sun. May 18th- 20th
House built in 1951and occupied by same family for 60 years. Husband was TWU history professor and wife a librarian.
Everything was well maintained and organized. A varied inventory of souvenirs from world travels to family heirlooms.
Most of these photos were made before drawers, cabinets, and closets were emptied. Updated photos will be added before
Friday.
Here's list of some of what will be in the sale:
Furniture---Eastlake marble top tables, and dresser, Golden Oak bed, cherry drop leaf dining table, set of 4 Hitchcock chairs,
Maple kitchen table and 6 chairs, pop-up coffee/dining table, lamp tables, washstand, wave front secretary, tall mahogany secretary,
2 honey-maple chests, outstanding mahogany bedroom suite, antique lamps, Stiffel floor lamp, and Karistan rugs.
Toys & Dolls from the 50's-----A number of tin litho and Fisher Price pieces, child's table and chairs, Akro Agate and Hazel Atlas child's dish
sets in original box, a doll collection--character dolls and a Madam Alexander Little Women doll. Boxes of doll and baby clothes.
Clothes----From Vintage to new with tags, lots of them, ladies small sizes, imaculate. Vintage include an old fur jacket, opera cape, 50's prom dresses.
Accessories--many fancy hankies, scarves, and men's belts, ties, & bow ties.
Dining & Kitchen---Frig, Stove, washer/dryer, and Microwave will stay with house. Small appliance and lots of cookware including and enameled 1930's
electric roaster, sets if flatware, large set of Wedgewood Brambles (12 place settings), Glassware-Lalique comport, some cut glass, Baccarat, Fostoria Ameican, and Candlewick.
Miscelaneous--Wheel chair, 6 powder coated patio chairs, Story & Clark console piano, Paintings and drawings, Christmas and other holiday decor, and enough plastic containers to open a store.
Hours: Fri and Sat, 9-5, Sun.11-4. Sorry no unattended children, and no large hand bags. Cash or Check
