Denton Texas Estate Sales: April 2014

This is a small, downsizing sale of quality items located in Justin off Eakins Cemetery Road.

It’s Phase II of a sale we did there

3 years ago when the owner first planned to sell the house.

Import note: The ONLY furniture in the

Dining room photos included in the sale

are the Chippendale tilt top table and 4 ball & claw feet Chippendale chairs, and

An oak chair shown alone. All the other dining room furniture is just being used for displaying the vintage glass and china.

Highlights of sale are

Kent Bowman’s collection of

Knives including Civil War sword (Union), arrowheads, pre Columbian pottery,

Antiquarian books, Matchbox cars,

Lionel and American Flyer trains

And other miscellany.

English Staffordshire and transfer ware,

Some quite early, American Haviland Rosalinde (21 pieces), and various vintage glass ware, a rolling pin group, and other quality household items.

There are many old etchings and other prints in original frames.

Other furniture in the sale are set of 4 Mexican chairs, 2 rush seat arm chairs,

A small 17^th C tilt top table from Greenberg-Perlman antiques in Pilot point and two sturdy, antique Windsor chairs, an 8’ long oak sofa table, a small Empire wash stand with mirror, a Mission library table (as is), an outdoor chaise lounge, a pink leather barrel chair, pair of beautiful antique twin beds, and quite a few bookshelves.

There are also some good encore items from another estate.
