Estate Sale of the late W. D. and Lucille Whitson. Mr. Whitson was a decorated WWII hero (Purple Heart and Distinguished Flying Cross), pilot of the famous B-17 ”Old Bill” ( nose art by famous cartoonist Bruce Bairnsfather), and partner in the Whitson Food Products and Mission Beverage Co, until it was sold in 1969.
