Mid-Century Home Estate Sale 1426 Kendolph, Denton July 22 & 23
Fri and Sat, 7/22-23, 8:30 to 4:30. Half price at 2 on Sat.
Here's a chance to see a 1960 Mount-Miller house in its original condition. Full house sale (not to be confused with a recent sale across the street) full gourmet kitchen, library, tools shed, sewing room, patio, deck. Former home of cultivated family with many & varied interests. Good books (everything ever published by John Updike, books on and by Samuel Clements, modern poetry, theology (late husband was minister of St. Pauls), gardening, art, cooking. Most of furniture was given to friends and family, but with everything out of cabinets & closets, there's lots to see and buy.
Sewing and fabrics, dress form, Christmas, original, signed art, ladies + size clothing & accessories, good costume jewelry, crystal, studio pottery, ceramic sculpture, blue & white Palomar dishes, 1970's items from Mexico, antique 2 drawer file cabinet, some antiques.
